Dublin Rural Leader Supports Castleknock GAA with Sustainable Electric Tools Project

Dublin Rural Leader is delighted to announce the signing of a contract with Castleknock Hurling and Football Club for an Electric Tools Project, supporting the club’s sustainability goals and long-term environmental commitments.

This project will see the introduction of electric tools to replace traditional petrol- or diesel-powered equipment used in the club’s day-to-day maintenance. By making this transition, Castleknock GAA will significantly reduce emissions, noise pollution, and overall environmental impact while improving efficiency and safety.

Community sports clubs play a vital role in local life, and projects like this demonstrate how sustainability can be integrated into everyday operations. The electric tools sustainability project at Castleknock GAA highlights the positive impact that targeted funding and community collaboration can achieve.

Dublin Rural Leader is proud to support initiatives that promote climate action, innovation, and sustainable development across rural and community organisations. We look forward to seeing the long-term benefits of this project for the club, its members, and the wider community.
