WorkAbility FLP

Unlocking Potential. Changing Futures.

This project is co-funded by the Government of Ireland, through the Department of Social Protection, and the European Union.

Unlock Potential

At Fingal LEADER Partnership, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive in meaningful work. The WorkAbility FLP Programme supports people of all abilities to build confidence, gain skills, and access inclusive employment in their local community — while helping employers create more diverse, supportive workplaces.

We provide individualised, person-centred support to help each participant develop confidence, build essential skills, and become job-ready. Our team connects participants directly with inclusive employers who value diversity and want to make a real difference in their community.

Key Objectives

  • We partner with employers across Ireland to create meaningful employment opportunities for people of all abilities. Working with us helps employers access skilled candidates, reduce recruitment risk and build inclusive, supported workplaces.

  • We support employers to confidently recruit, support and retain employees of all abilities, strengthening workforce diversity and long-term retention.

  • We connect employers with motivated, job-ready candidates transitioning from education, training or unemployment into sustainable work.

  • We collaborate with education and training providers to ensure candidates are well prepared for the workplace and supported once employed.

  • We provide practical guidance on inclusive recruitment, reasonable accommodation and workplace supports, helping employers meet equality legislation and business goals.

  • We help employers identify and access Irish government employment supports, including the Wage Subsidy Scheme and Work and Access grants, reducing the cost and risk of inclusive hiring.

WorkAbility FLP helps people build confidence, navigate transitions, and access education, training, and employment. We also support providers and employers to create inclusive, accessible opportunities for everyone.
