Green Dublin: Rural Business in Action – a new practical programme for rural organisations

We’re delighted to launch Green Dublin: Rural Business in Action, a free seven-week programme supporting rural businesses and organisations across Dublin to identify practical opportunities to improve their sustainability.

The programme will help participants:

♻️ Identify realistic ways to reduce energy and waste
🌿 Improve resource efficiency
🔄 Explore circular economy opportunities
💡 Understand the supports available to help move good ideas into action

The programme is designed for rural SMEs and micro-enterprises, farm and food businesses, social enterprises, community groups and local organisations.

Importantly, participants do not need an existing sustainability plan or specialist knowledge. Whether you're starting from scratch or already working on sustainability improvements, the programme focuses on identifying opportunities that are realistic for your organisation, resources and location.

The free seven-week programme includes:

📌 Six live online workshops
📌 A final in-person advisory clinic
📌 Practical guidance focused on your organisation
📌 Opportunities to identify and develop realistic sustainability actions

📅 Programme starts: Thursday, 1 October 2026

Places are limited, so we encourage interested organisations to register early.
