Dublin Rural LEADER Visits Brittas Community Association to Explore Future Supports
On Friday, Dublin Rural LEADER had the pleasure of visiting the Brittas Community Association to see first-hand the energy and activity taking place in their vibrant community centre.
The visit was an opportunity to learn more about the fantastic work being carried out in Brittas, to discuss potential areas of support, and to explore future plans that will strengthen community life in rural Dublin.
A Vibrant Rural Hub
The Brittas Community Centre plays an important role as a gathering place for local residents. It supports a wide range of activities, events, and initiatives that bring people together and build a strong sense of community.
By meeting with the Brittas Community Association, Dublin Rural LEADER was able to better understand the ongoing needs and aspirations of the community, and how the LEADER Programme can continue to provide meaningful support.
Strengthening Community Development in Rural Dublin
The LEADER Programme is designed to empower rural communities by supporting local projects that promote sustainability, inclusion, and growth. Visits like this ensure that Dublin Rural LEADER remains connected to communities on the ground, helping to identify opportunities where resources can have the greatest impact.
Looking Ahead
We look forward to working closely with the Brittas Community Association as they continue to develop new initiatives and strengthen the role of the community centre as a hub for local life.
Dublin Rural LEADER is proud to support organisations like Brittas Community Association, whose dedication and vision help make rural Dublin a stronger, more connected, and thriving place to live.
