Balscadden Benefits from Community Centre and Digital Upgrade Through LEADER Funding

We’re delighted to announce that Dublin Rural LEADER has signed two new contracts with Balscadden District Community Council, delivering impactful projects aimed at enhancing both physical infrastructure and digital capacity in the village.The first project focuses on much-needed upgrades to the Balscadden Community Centre, including:

• The supply and fit of new fencing to improve security and aesthetics
• Installation of a modern community notice board
• Provision of a portable sound system to support local events and gatherings

In parallel, the second project brings a digital upgrade to the community, with:

• The design and development of a brand new Balscadden Community website
• Supply of two laptops
• A printer to support administrative and community functions

These projects reflect our core mission: supporting vibrant and resilient rural communities in Fingal through targeted investment and development.
