Ballyboughal GFC Partners with Dublin Rural LEADER for Sustainable Grounds Maintenance

We’re excited to share that Ballyboughal GFC has officially signed a Targeted Call contract with Dublin Rural LEADER to carry out a sustainability-focused project.

This initiative will enable the club to maintain its grounds and facilities in a more environmentally friendly way, using electric tools that reduce emissions and promote cleaner, quieter operations.

The project represents a continued effort by Dublin Rural LEADER to support local organisations adopting sustainable practices that benefit both their members and the wider community.

📌 Project Highlights:

  • Introduction of electric tools for sustainable grounds maintenance

  • Lower carbon emissions and improved environmental performance

  • Strengthened community facilities through green innovation

We’d like to congratulate Ballyboughal GFC on taking this important step toward a greener future and look forward to seeing the positive impact this project brings to the club and its community.
