A Great Day of Collaboration in Carlow

The Dublin Rural LEADER team had the pleasure of travelling to Carlow this week to meet with our counterparts from other counties involved in the LEADER Programme. The day offered a fantastic opportunity to share insights, discuss progress, and strengthen our collective approach to rural development across Ireland.

Throughout the visit, teams exchanged experiences on project delivery, community engagement, and innovation in supporting local enterprises and sustainable development. The discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration between counties and the shared commitment to empowering rural communities.

We would like to extend our thanks to our Carlow colleagues for their warm welcome and hospitality. Days like this remind us of the value of partnership and the shared vision behind the LEADER approach — building vibrant, inclusive, and resilient rural areas.

The Dublin Rural LEADER Programme continues to support local communities, businesses, and organisations in creating positive change and sustainable growth throughout the region.
