The Application Process
A Step by Step Guide

The Rural Development Staff of Fingal LEADER Partnership are available to assist, advise and offer guidance with all stages of the application process.

1. Initial Enquiry

The Promoter contacts the office and is asked to
complete an Expression of Interest Form

2. Meeting

The Staff of FLP arrange to meet with the Promoter to discuss the application process and begin work on completing the application form

3. Application Submitted

The Promoter submits the completed formal
application along with supporting
documentation to FLP

4. Letter of Acknowledgement

FLP formally acknowledges the Promoter's
application for funding

5. Review & Evaluation

The application is presented to Evaluation Advisory Council, the Joint LEADER Advisory Council and the Board where it is assessed and a formal decision taken

6. Letter of Offer (Rejection)

A Letter of Offer (or Rejection) is sent to the Promoter, including the Contract of Grant Aid including
details of grant draw down

7. Signing the Contract

The Promoter signs the contract and returns to FLP, accepting the terms and conditions of grant aid

8. Project Completion

Once the project is complete, the Promoter
submits all claims documentation to FLP

9. Final Inspection

An inspection of the completed is carried
out by staff of FLP

10. Payment of Grant Aid

Once all documentation is in place FLP
makes a payment to the Promoter
