Information Session on Applying for Citizenship in Ireland & Renewal of Status

An Information Workshop will be held on Friday the 9th December in the Combined Clubs in Balbriggan @ 10am

This session is FREE  OF CHARGE

Topics include : Eligibility criteria for applying for Citizenship, the application process, maintaining immigration status etc.

All are welcome but is especially relevant to MIGRANTS who are intending to apply or have already applied for Citizenship in Ireland and for those renewing status.

Adult Refugee Programme - English language, literacy and socialisation programme for migrants with Green Card Stamp 4 Status (This initiative is a joint collaboration between Fingal LEADER Partnership and Co. Dublin VEC. Fingal Adult Education Service)

  • Three courses operate at various levels to support migrants with English language and literacy skills.
  • Training is delivered over 20 hours each week and is FETAC accredited.
  • Entry is open to all migrants with Stamp 4 status.
  • Additional workshops to support settlement and integration of migrants are delivered throughout training period

If you are interested in participating in this training programme you must:

  • Have a valid green card with stamp 4 status
  • Attend an assessment and interview

Pre-employment Training Programme for Migrants

  • Are you unemployed and in receipt of a D/SFA Jobs Seekers Allowance or Job Seekers Benefit payment?
  • Do you require some support with English language, literacy and job seeking skills in order to gain employement?
  • Do you reside in the Fingal LEADER Partnership catchment area?

Interviews and testing for this programme will take place in June 2010 in the BEaT Centre, Balbriggan. Places on this programme are subject to availability.
