Fáilte Isteach is a community project with volunteers welcoming new migrants through conversational English classes. It is a unique project which utilises the skills, talents and expertise of volunteers and harnesses their desire to contribute positively to society. Fáilte Isteach works at breaking down the barriers that migrants and communities face by extending the hands of friendship and goodwill through the practical, welcoming and inclusive manner in which the programme is delivered. It is providing more than the transfer of skills and knowledge. It is making a positive difference to everyone involved. Fáilte Isteach Swords currently has 15 trained volunteer tutors and over 30 students availing of the service. This year Failte Isteach is also starting in Skerries and there are currently 12 trained volunteers in the area.

Swords Failte Isteach is run on Tuesday evenings, 7-9pm at Colaiste Choilm Boys School, Dublin Road, Swords

Skerries Failte Isteach is held on Wednesday evenings, 7-9pm at Skerries Educate Together, Kelly's Bay
